Function in Python

User defined function may be created to distribute the code into sections.
In Python function may be defined as following.

def testFun():
 print("This is Test Function")
testFun()

Output:
This is Test Function

By default does not being called itself. we have to call this function

We can also pass parameters to function and function may aslo return the value as following.

Program to calculate the area using function.

def areaFunction(length,breadth):
 area=length*breadth
 return area
a=areaFunction(10,5)
print("area=",a)

Output:
area=50

In this example 10,50 values are passed as parameter we can also pass the value with the help of variable
and after calculating area that is returned from the function.
