Modules in Python

In python similar type of code can be grouped together and known as python modules.A module may contain classes , variables and functions      There are some .Python has some inbuilt modules , we can import them as following.

Syntax:

import <module-name>  or

import <module-name> as <alias-name>

eg :

import random  # or

import r as random

Classes from another python file may also be imported as module.Eg: We create TestModule.py (python file) as following

class Test:
i=100
def testFun(self):
print("This is demo Function ")

Now we can import above class in another python file lets say. importing.py(we can import all classes using *)

from TestModule import Test
t1=Test() # create the object of the class
t1.testFun() # call the function of that class
print("value of class variable= ",t1.i)

   Output:This is demo function

   value of class variable= 100
